Through the work of our member Agencies, CAAP advocates on behalf of Pennsylvania families to ensure that national and state policy supports the evolving challenges low-income people face as they strive for self-sufficiency.

Engaged For Policy Change
CAAP works within the public policy realm to provide information, guidance, and assistance to state and federal departments whenever possible. The National Community Action Foundation (NCAF) is a private, non-profit organization that serves as an advocate and lobbyist for programs that assist low-income families and individuals. NCAF advocates, in Washington, for the Community Action network, which assists low-income individuals and communities across the United States (see their Facebook page)
